    Two of the five people killed in Tuesday's helicopter crash at Long Lellang, Miri, Sarawak were PERKESO contributors, so their dependants qualify for monthly benefits. The pilot's family is eligible for RM5,355 a month and the medical officer's husband for a RM1,574.10 monthly pension, the Human Resource Ministry said. The other three victims' records did not meet the eligibility requirements.

Deputy Minister Datuk Gerawat Gala announced the figures at a programme held at the Mulu Marriott Resort on Sunday, where cheques were also handed over to two of the churches.
