Punggol East riverfront land eyed for over 8,000 new homes; tenants told leases won't be renewed
Singapore's government-owned riverfront land in Punggol East could yield over 8,000 new homes. The Urban Redevelopment Authority's Master Plan 2025 designates five large residential sites there, and current tenants have been told their leases, ending December 2026, will not be renewed to make way for redevelopment.

Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has secured an RM858 million contract for MEP fit-out works at a data-centre development in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Separately, the group has completed its acquisition of the remaining 40% stake in Tanjung Bungah Development Sdn Bhd, a special-purpose vehicle for a mixed development in Penang.

Yishun 10 cinema to close in March 2027, redeveloped into mixed-use project with 110 homes
Singapore's first multiplex cinema, Yishun 10, will cease operations on 2 March 2027. Owner Frasers Property will redevelop the site into a mixed-use building with about 110 residential units, shops and a landscaped facility deck, expected to be completed by mid-2031.
