Penarik Mosque in Setiu expected to reopen by January 2028 after repairs
The congregation of Masjid Penarik in Setiu, Terengganu, will have to wait until January 2028 for the mosque, closed since 2025, to reopen after repair and upgrade works. The MP for Setiu said physical work began on August 2 with an allocation of RM1.71 million, and the Surau Kampung Baru Penarik is being used in the meantime.
