KLFF and Luna Lights Wonderland in Kuching reopen as haze eases
The Kuching Lights & Floral Festival (KLFF) and Luna Lights Wonderland reopen to the public in Kuching today. Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) said the reopening follows an improvement in the haze in the city compared with two weeks ago. Visitors are advised to wear face masks, carry enough drinking water and check air quality readings before going.

Sarawak seeks frequent cloud seeding as hotter October looms
Sarawak has asked the National Disaster Management Agency to carry out cloud seeding as soon and as often as conditions allow, to replenish water levels at its dams before hotter weather expected in October. Deputy Premier Douglas Uggah Embas said the state had discussed the matter with Nadma after limited success from earlier operations, and that he had not yet received the latest readings for the Batang Ai, Bakun and Murum dams.

Cloud seeding continues to reduce haze in Sarawak
Cloud seeding operations will continue in Sarawak to reduce haze affecting parts of the state. Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Kuching and Sri Aman recorded very unhealthy API readings, while Serian, declared an emergency area, is showing positive improvement.
