A lorry driver was fined RM30,000 by the Seremban Sessions Court after pleading guilty to sending obscene photos and videos of his ex-wife to her new husband via WhatsApp. Mohd Suhaimi Yusof, 50, faces 10 months' jail if he fails to pay. The offence took place at a premises in Mantin on March 22, 2023.

High Court sets Sept 17 for additional evidence in Rosmah's solar hybrid graft appeal
The High Court in Kuala Lumpur has fixed Sept 17 to hear additional evidence from star prosecution witness Rayyan Radzwill Abdullah in Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor's solar hybrid project graft appeal. The Court of Appeal had allowed Rosmah's application to adduce additional evidence, but the prosecution has filed a stay application and a notice of appeal to the Federal Court.

Police hunt drivers over speed test on Putra Bridge, Putrajaya
Putrajaya police are tracking down the individuals and vehicles involved in a speed-testing stunt on Jambatan Putra, Putrajaya, after a 25-second video was uploaded to Threads. His lawyer said the application for a further three days under Section 420 of the Penal Code was rejected, and Azeez is due out before 5pm. A former general manager of a property investment holding company has been remanded for two days by the MACC over allegations of abusing his position to approve promotions, salary adjustments and bonuses without following standard operating procedures. The remand order was issued by Magistrate Wan Noora Nisa Ngadirin in Shah Alam today. The suspect was detained while giving a statement at the Selangor MACC office.

SMJK Ken Hwa jump rope team finishes fourth at national meet
The jump rope team from SMJK Ken Hwa in Keningau, Sabah finished fourth in the Figure 8 event at the 2026 National Jump Rope Competition. The competition was held at Sunsuria Forum in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, Selangor from Aug 20 to 22, with 59 schools taking part. The team of eight Form One and Form Two students also competed in the 4 x 30s Speed Relay.
