   Selangor's Immigration Department detained 197 undocumented foreign workers during raids on a motorcycle battery factory and a warehouse in Port Klang. The operation, involving 62 officers from various agencies, targeted premises in the Pulau Indah and Bandar Sultan Suleiman industrial areas. All those detained were placed at the Semenyih Immigration Depot for further investigation.

2. 197 foreigners arrested in Selangor factory raid for lacking valid work permits

   The Selangor immigration department arrested 197 foreigners, including a 28-year-old Myanmar woman, in a raid on a battery factory in Pulau Indah. The woman believed her UNHCR card was a valid work permit. The department reiterated that UNHCR cards do not grant legal work rights in Malaysia.
