JPJ Kelantan seizes 12 vehicles in extreme modification op
JPJ Kelantan seized 10 cars and two motorcycles with extreme modifications in Ops Ekstrem around Kota Bharu last Friday. A total of 131 notices were issued, including 52 P22 summonses and 12 seizure notices. From January to date, 18 Ops Ekstrem operations were conducted with 5,616 notices issued.

Captain Zainol Afiq laid to rest in Senawang
The body of pilot Captain Zainol Afiq Bee Sham, 30, was buried at the Senawang Islamic Cemetery in Forest Heights, Seremban, at about 6pm. He was one of five killed when an Air Doctor Service (FDS) helicopter crashed and burned near Long Lellang Airport in Sarawak last Tuesday. The bodies of four other health workers were sent to Kota Bharu, Miri and Kuching for burial.

Dr. Ainul Baraah buried at Kampung Sri Kedeper after Miri helicopter crash
The body of Dr. Ainul Baraah Kamarudin, 33, who died in the Air Doctor Service helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Miri, was buried at the Kampung Sri Kedeper Islamic Cemetery in Kota Bharu today. The remains arrived at Sultan Ismail Petra Airport in Pengkalan Chepa before the funeral prayer led by Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad.

Thai man found drowned in Sungai Golok near Rantau Panjang

Fire in a two-storey house in Kota Bharu; body of 66-year-old man found in bathroom
A fire broke out last night in a two-storey house near Jalan Pantai Cahaya Bulan in Kota Bharu, in the Pasar Kok Kapur area. Firefighters found the body of 66-year-old Kang Chu Hak in the bathroom of the house, which was 95 per cent destroyed. Thirty-five firefighters from the Kota Bharu, Kota Darul Naim and Pengkalan Chepa stations brought the fire under control; the cause is under investigation.

Dr Ainul Baraah's Body Expected to Be Buried in Kelantan After Sarawak Helicopter Crash
The body of Dr Ainul Baraah Kamarudin, 33, who died in a helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Ulu Baram, Sarawak, is expected to be buried at the Sri Kedeper Islamic Cemetery in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Her father, Kamarudin Salleh, said the funeral prayer will be held at the Al Karamah Mosque in Mukim Baung Besar, Pengkalan Chepa. All five individuals on board the helicopter were confirmed dead.

Worker dies of heart attack in septic tank pit at Kubang Kerian construction site
A 48-year-old worker died after suffering a heart attack while installing a septic tank at a house under construction in Taman Permai Demit, Kubang Kerian, Kota Bharu. The victim, Zakari Mat Jusoh, was found unconscious and was pronounced dead by a medical officer. His body was sent to Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital for further action.

Teen dies, cousin hurt in Kampung Langgar electric shock
A 14-year-old student died after being electrocuted while trying to retrieve a fishing hook from an electrical wire in Kampung Langgar, Kota Baru.
