Negeri Sembilan MB claims he was forced to sign proclamation to depose ruler
Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim claims he was forced to sign a proclamation document to depose the Yang di-Pertuan Besar, Tuanku Muhriz. He has lodged a police report and the state government asserts the document is invalid. The Undang Luak Sungei Ujong also confirmed the proclamation is void.

Ab Rauf hints Rais Yasin will move to Sungai Udang seat in Melaka polls
Melaka Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh has hinted that senior state executive councillor Rais Yasin will contest the Sungai Udang state seat in the next state election. Rais, who currently holds the Paya Rumput seat, said he would follow the party's decision on where he is placed. The hint was made at a carnival in Taman Seri Bertam, Sungai Udang.

Melaka CM hints state assembly dissolution within two weeks
Melaka Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh has hinted that the state assembly could be dissolved within two weeks, paving the way for a state election. He made the remarks during a programme in Sungai Udang, following a call from UMNO president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to expedite the dissolution.
