Tunggul Melati Trail draws 1,525 runners from 25 countries
The second edition of the Tunggul Melati Trail (TMT) in Dengkil, Selangor, brought together 1,525 participants from 25 countries across trails in Sepang and Nilai. The three-day event offered six categories including 85km and 65km, with local winners in the open categories. TMT has now been nominated for the Asia Trail Master 2026.

Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 at Putrajaya, KLIA from Sept 23
Tourism Malaysia will hold the Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 from 23 September to 4 October at several locations including IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Terminal 1 KLIA and Hotel Sama-Sama. The festival combining motorsport and culture aims to attract international visitors under the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 campaign.

38 Malaysian pilgrims return safely after Nepal border disruption
38 Malaysian pilgrims who were in Tibet during severe flooding returned safely to Malaysia on Aug 31. The group, which had traveled to Mount Kailash, had to take an alternative route back to Nepal due to the disaster. They landed at KLIA after receiving assistance from the Malaysian Embassy in Nepal.
