JAINJ raids Kluang shophouse, detains man who paid RM200 for sex
A man in his 20s was detained by Johor Islamic religious authority officers after allegedly paying RM200 to solicit a foreign prostitute at a four-storey shophouse in Kluang. The 3.05pm raid found two curtained rooms, used and unused condoms, and a local woman in her 30s. The case is being investigated under khalwat and prostitution-related offences.

Johor launches large-scale stray dog operation in Batu Pahat after child attacked
The Johor government has launched a large-scale operation to catch stray dogs in Kampung Tambak, Peserai, Batu Pahat, following an attack on a two-year-old girl by five dogs. The operation involves the Batu Pahat District Office, MPBP, the Veterinary Services Department and the police to check the animals for rabies. The state government has also committed to covering the victim's medical costs at Hospital Sultanah Aminah.
