Malaysian boccia athlete Noor Askuzaimey Mat Salim won the women's BC4 individual world title at the 2026 World Boccia Championship in Seoul, defeating Hong Kong's Yuen Cheung 5-3 in the final. The victory, which came on her wedding anniversary and Malaysia's 69th Independence Day, was her first world title and made up for her fourth-place finish at the Paris 2024 Paralympics.
