Lorry driver killed by falling rock at Keramat Pulai quarry
A 53-year-old lorry driver, M. Sivakumar, was killed when a rock crushed his vehicle at a quarry in Keramat Pulai, Kampung Kepayang near Simpang Pulai, Perak. Fire and rescue personnel from Simpang Pulai and Gopeng extricated him using hydraulic equipment, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Firemen trek 2km up Bukit Perak Cave Temple to bring down Nepali man's body
A Nepali man was found hanging from a tree at the summit of Bukit Perak Cave Temple on Jalan Kuala Kangsar in Ipoh. Six firemen walked about two kilometres along a hilly route to reach the body and bring it down before handing it to police. The operation began after a call at 1.33pm and ended at 4.10pm.

Body of man missing in Sungai Perak found 4km from scene
A 38-year-old man who went missing while trying to save his drifting boat in Sungai Perak has been found dead. Ahmad Zaki Elias's body was found floating about four kilometres from the scene by the Perak Fire and Rescue Department's water rescue team.

Man's body found in locked car in Bandar Sri Botani, Ipoh
A man believed to be around 30 years old was found dead inside a locked car in Bandar Sri Botani, Ipoh, early Tuesday morning. Fire and rescue personnel had to remove the body from the vehicle, after which he was pronounced dead by Health Ministry staff. The body has been handed over to police for further action.
