In Kampung Raja, Besut, batik maker Afizah Shaidi introduces wax-coated cardboard blocks to replace copper blocks, while a keropok lekor maker in Losong keeps his recipe and prices unchanged.

The Malaysia Ultra-Trail by UTMB in Taiping generates a direct economic impact of between RM14 million and RM18 million a year based on previous editions. McDonald's holds Piknik Famili Terbesar at Pengkalan Chepa and Pantai Batu Buruk
McDonald's Malaysia held its Piknik Famili Terbesar @ Mekdi at two East Coast locations, Pengkalan Chepa in Kelantan and Pantai Batu Buruk in Terengganu, on 5 September. The event offered free meals, traditional games, a children's fashion show and the Mekdi mascot, and introduced the new Ayam Goreng McD Rasa Ori menu.

Motorcyclists tour Lenggong heritage sites
A group of motorcyclists led by Norhadi Kaharuddin explored historical and heritage sites in Lenggong, Perak over four days from 28 to 31 August. The trip covered Hutan Lipur Lata Kekabu, Bukit Sapi, Lata Perahu, 'Mini Amazon' Kampung Beng and the Lenggong Valley Archaeological Gallery. Videos of the journey were shared on social media to highlight geological treasures such as the Perak Man skeleton.
