Zahid lets man with 'Justice for Najib' placard onto UMNO 2026 stage
At the UMNO General Assembly 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi allowed a man carrying a 'Justice for Najib Razak' placard onto the stage during his closing speech. Zahid also expressed sadness over the Pardons Board's decision to postpone Najib Razak's pardon application, and UMNO hopes it will be considered at a future meeting.

Kuala Kangsar Bersatu deputy chief, eight branch leaders quit party
Kuala Kangsar Bersatu division deputy chief Datuk Adly Shah Ahmad Tah and eight of the division's 11 branch leaders announced on Friday they are resigning from all party posts and leaving Bersatu. The branches involved are Bunga Raya, Ulu Kenas, Sayong Lembah, Bendang Kering, Senggang, Jerlun, Bukit Residen and Lempor, leaving the division with only three branches. Division secretary Abd Hadi Sabri has also resigned, and over 100 members expressed support for the decision.

115 BERSATU Kuala Kangsar members quit, nine branch chiefs resign
A total of 115 members including part of the BERSATU Kuala Kangsar division leadership announced they are leaving the party effective today, involving nine of 11 branch chiefs. Division deputy chief Datuk Adly Shah Ahmad Tah and treasurer Abdul Hadi Sabri also resigned, and they chose Parti Wawasan Negara (WAWASAN) as their new political platform.

In Kuala Kangsar, Deputy Division Chief of BERSATU Kuala Kangsar, Datuk Adly Shah Ahmad Tah, along with nine of the 11 branches, announced their resignation and departure from the party. A total of 115 members and leaders are involved, leaving BERSATU Kuala Kangsar with only two branches. They have chosen Parti Wawasan Negara (WAWASAN) as their new political platform.
