   Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh said IBS-built classrooms will ease overcrowding in Melaka schools. Three schools in the Kesidang constituency received RM3.3 million to build 11 classrooms, expected to be completed before the 2027 school session.

2. IBS classrooms to restore use of special rooms in Malaysian schools

   Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh said new Industrialised Building System (IBS) classrooms will allow schools to stop using special rooms like music rooms and science labs as regular classrooms. The move is to prepare for the intake of 490,168 Year One students in the 2027 school session. He spoke after inspecting the project at SK Taman Merdeka in Melaka.
