SG4 states to host business forum at KLCC on Oct 26
The SG4 Group, owned by the state governments of Kedah, Terengganu, Perlis and Kelantan, will hold its Business and Economic Forum 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Oct 26. The forum will feature keynote addresses from the four menteri besars and a special address by adviser Dr Mahathir Mohamad, focusing on investment and economic opportunities across the SG4 states.

Keretapi Sarong 2026 expands to 10 cities, adds women-only station at MRT Titiwangsa
Keretapi Sarong will return on September 16 for its 10th edition, expanding to 10 cities including new locations Padang Besar, Langkawi and Kuching. Organisers expect around 25,000 participants, and a new women-only station will operate at MRT Titiwangsa. The Kuching edition has been postponed to December due to haze.

KL orchestra and Tokyo chorus to stage Beethoven's 9th in city
Orkestra Kuala Lumpur and the Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo will perform Beethoven's 9th Symphony at Auditorium Bandaraya in Kuala Lumpur on 11 September 2026. The concert features Malaysian soloists Tan Sin Sim and Tan Chee Shen under conductor Keiko Mitsuhashi.
