DOE: Sri Aman’s API hits 221 as 28 areas nationwide record unhealthy air quality
The Department of Environment reported that Sri Aman, Sarawak, recorded an Air Pollutant Index (API) of 221, a very unhealthy level, as 28 areas nationwide experienced unhealthy air quality. The haze conditions are attributed to ongoing forest fires and transboundary smoke.
