An 18-year-old man is feared drowned after going missing while bathing at a beach near Prima Klebang, Melaka. His friend stated the victim had previously said he could not swim. A search and rescue operation is underway.

Driver dies after being run over by his own lorry, believed to have forgotten to pull the handbrake
A 72-year-old man died after being run over by his lorry in Taman Mawar, Machap Baru, Alor Gajah, Melaka. The lorry rolled forward, allegedly because the handbrake was not engaged, and struck the man as he walked towards a guard post. Police are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
