    Police in Kulai fired a shot at the tyres of a Perodua Myvi after two suspects rammed an officer on Jalan Kenari, Bandar Putra, Kulai early yesterday. An URB member suffered minor leg injuries, while the 23-year-old man and woman were arrested within 24 hours around Bandar Putra and Kluang. The case is being investigated under Sections 307, 332 and 186 of the Penal Code.

    Johor Immigration officers raided residential areas around Senai in Kulai at 12.30am and detained 47 undocumented migrants aged 20 to 48. The group comprised Myanmar, Bangladeshi and Indonesian nationals without valid travel documents or who had overstayed. They are being investigated under the Immigration Act 1959/63 and held at the Setia Tropika Immigration Depot.

    A woman in Kulai is appealing for help to find her husband, Mohammad Nazrizal Basiron, 32, who has been missing since Sept 6. He was last in contact with his wife, saying he was detained by an unidentified person while travelling from Saleng to Bandar Tenggara. Police have confirmed a report was lodged and are investigating.
