Sepanggar murder case of senior citizen transferred to High Court
The Magistrate's Court in Kota Kinabalu has transferred the murder case of 72-year-old Piluta Samad to the High Court. Samad is accused of murdering his former fiancée, Hamidah Husin @ Lisa, whose dismembered body was found in Sepanggar. The transfer was made after the prosecution obtained sanction for the Section 302 charge.

4-month-old baby dies at daycare in Dungun, police investigate negligence
A four-month-old baby girl died after being found unconscious at a daycare center in Bandar Al Muktafi Billah Shah (AMBS), Dungun, Terengganu. Police have opened an investigation under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 to determine if there was negligence or abandonment.
