A 38-year-old minibus driver was trapped in his seat after an accident involving his vehicle, a lorry and three cars in Bedok. He was rescued by the Singapore Civil Defence Force using hydraulic tools and taken to hospital with two other drivers.

Private-hire driver, 38, dies after crash on Joo Chiat Road; suspected heart attack
A 38-year-old private-hire car driver died after his vehicle rear-ended another car along Joo Chiat Road towards Marine Parade Central on Sep. 2. He was found unconscious and taken to Changi General Hospital, where he subsequently died. Police investigations are ongoing.
