Couple in Serdang lose RM60,000 to fake e-commerce agent scam
A Chinese national woman and her Malaysian husband in Serdang lost over RM60,000 after falling for a scam offering work as e-commerce platform agents. The victim had to front payments for orders and even borrowed from loan sharks, but was unable to withdraw promised profits. A police report has been filed.

RM5.16 million in seized scam money returned to victims
Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution said RM5.16 million of RM7.94 million seized from scam syndicates was returned to victims between January and July. He spoke at the 6th International Cyber Resilience Convention in Bandar Baru Bangi, also detailing operations against forced labor and online child sexual abuse.
