Three police officers held over RM13,000 extortion in Pulau Tikus
Three police officers in Penang have been detained over the alleged extortion of four men of RM13,000 in Pulau Tikus on 6 August. Penang police chief Dennis Lim Kwang Keng said the suspects, aged 30 to 48, are remanded for four days until 16 September, and the case is being investigated under Section 384 of the Penal Code.

Eleven to be charged over Aug 29 armed clash between Gang 04 factions in Air Itam
Eleven men will be charged in George Town over an armed riot between two Gang 04 groups that occurred on Aug 29 outside SJK(C) Kong Min Second Branch in Air Itam. One suspect faces an attempted murder charge for allegedly ramming a car into a 25-year-old man, while the others face rioting charges. Police have made 23 arrests in total across Penang and Selangor.
