More pickleball stars announced for KL PPA Tour Asia event
The PPA Tour Asia has announced more international players for the PPA Asia 1000 Leapmotor Kuala Lumpur Cup 2026, to be held from Sept 9 to 13 at The Hood in Kuala Lumpur. The new additions include top-ranked players from France, the US, and Japan, who will compete against Malaysia's leading professionals like Athilla Miasara Azizul Azhar.

Two Malaysia '75 World Cup heroes fighting for their lives
Two Malaysian hockey legends from the 1975 World Cup team, Datuk Seri N. Sri Shanmuganathan and Brian Sta Maria, are hospitalized in Kuala Lumpur. Shanmuganathan is at the National Heart Institute for heart problems, while Sta Maria, who also has Parkinson's disease, was moved from the emergency unit to a normal ward at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre after a fall at his home.
