Pokemon Centre and Nintendo pop-up stores are now open at Ombak KLCC in Kuala Lumpur and will run until the end of the year. The stores offer a range of merchandise including plushies, figures, children's clothing and Malaysia-exclusive items, plus a play area for trying out Nintendo games.

7,887 join IHH Sky Race to conquer Merdeka 118 Tower
A total of 7,887 participants took part in The IHH Sky Race at Merdeka 118 Tower in Kuala Lumpur last weekend. Participants had to conquer 118 floors and 2,845 steps, including an eight-year-old child, an 81-year-old veteran climber and a disabled athlete from the United States.

8-year-old and 81-year-old conquer 118 floors of Menara Merdeka 118
Eight-year-old Chua Ze Yu and 81-year-old Melita Kit were the youngest and oldest participants in the IHH Sky Race at Menara Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur on Aug 22-23. Both climbed 118 floors and 2,845 steps in the team category, supported by family members. Kit trained at the MBPJ tower in Petaling Jaya, while Ze Yu practised in his apartment building.

The show uses different food dishes as a lens to explore Yap's life, from his childhood move to Malaysia to his career in acting.

Keretapi Sarong 2026 expands to 10 cities, adds women-only station at MRT Titiwangsa
Keretapi Sarong will return on September 16 for its 10th edition, expanding to 10 cities including new locations Padang Besar, Langkawi and Kuching. Organisers expect around 25,000 participants, and a new women-only station will operate at MRT Titiwangsa. The Kuching edition has been postponed to December due to haze.

IMMERSIO 2026, a biennial new media art festival by Filamen, will be held at GMBB in Kuala Lumpur from 11 to 27 September 2026. The festival features over 70 works by more than 100 artists from Malaysia and Asia, all interpreting the theme of 'PASAR'. The event will also extend to other locations in Kuala Lumpur, including Muzium Telekom, REXKL, OMBAK KLCC and Tasik Titiwangsa.
