Najib and son win appeal to postpone bankruptcy proceedings over tax arrears
The Court of Appeal has allowed Najib Razak and his son Mohd Nazifuddin's appeal to postpone bankruptcy proceedings over tax arrears of RM1.69 billion and RM37.6 million. The three-judge panel ruled that the issues raised before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax were serious enough to warrant the postponement.
