Five premises at Chew Jetty destroyed in fire, firefighters prevent spread to petrol station

A fire destroyed five premises at Chew Jetty in Georgetown, Penang, in the early hours of the morning. Firefighters managed to prevent the blaze from spreading to a nearby petrol station and residential area. No injuries were reported, and the cause and losses are under investigation.
