Haze forces cancellation of PJ Half Marathon, postponement of several Malaysian races

The PJ Half Marathon in Petaling Jaya was cancelled and four Para Sukma events in Selangor were postponed as haze pushed the air pollutant index to 169. The Merdeka Spirit Run in Kuching was postponed to October 4, while some other runs proceeded as scheduled. Runners are adapting their training due to the poor air quality.
