Unhealthy air recorded at three Sabah monitoring stations

Three air quality monitoring stations in Sabah recorded unhealthy API readings on Monday afternoon, with the highest at Politeknik Kota Kinabalu at 156. The Sabah Department of Environment attributed the haze to transboundary fires in Kalimantan and reminded the public that open burning is prohibited.
