Perak exco: Blue Sungai Perak water due to rain, minerals, flow changes
The Perak State Legislative Assembly was told that the Sungai Perak turning blue was caused by increased runoff after heavy rain, mineral particles, and changes in water flow. The finding was based on a study by experts from Scieno TW, presented to the state executive council on Aug 19. The river is currently classified as Class II under the National Water Quality Index.
