CIMB to require biometric or passcode for online payments from Sept 19
CIMB will require customers to use biometric authentication or a six-digit passcode on its OCTO app to approve certain online transactions from September 19. The change affects transfers and online card payments made through CIMB Clicks Web, replacing password verification for SecureTAC approvals. The bank says the move is to strengthen security and protect against fraud.
