Final report on Penang ferry collision to be finalised after probe

The final report on the September 1 collision between MV Mekar Jaya and the Teluk Bahang ferry in Penang waters will be finalised after the investigation is complete. A joint investigation committee involving the Marine Department, the Penang Port Commission and Penang Port Sdn Bhd is identifying the cause. 21 passengers were initially reported injured.
