365 foreigners charged this year for MyKad, birth certificate misuse

A total of 365 foreigners have been charged in court for offences related to the misuse of MyKad and birth certificates in the first eight months of this year. The National Registration Department's enforcement director said the charges resulted from 738 operations nationwide, with most of those detained being Indonesian and Filipino nationals. The statement was made after leading Ops Layar at a printing factory in Bandar Sultan Suleiman, Port Klang, where three Indonesian women were arrested.
