Chinese tennis player Zheng Qinwen reached the US Open quarter-finals in New York after coming through qualifying, before losing in three sets to world number two Elena Rybakina on Wednesday. The 2024 Olympic gold medallist said the run helped her find her form again, with her ranking projected to return to the top 60 ahead of the WTA Asian swing in China.
