CAP urges MACC to probe alleged illegal dumping of construction waste in Pontian

New Straits Times Pontian, Johor

The Consumers' Association of Penang (CAP) has urged the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate alleged illegal dumping of construction waste in Pontian, Johor. The waste is said to have originated from Singapore and been dumped at non-designated sites, with residents disturbed by night-time truck convoys. CAP also called on Malaysian and Singaporean authorities to explain how the trucks passed checkpoints undetected.
