Long surveillance needed before drug lab raids, says JSJN chief

Narcotics CID director Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said operations against drug syndicates running processing labs require months of intelligence work before raids can be carried out. He said precursor chemicals must be tracked from entry points such as Port Klang to their final destination. He spoke to reporters after a visit to the Bachok drug rehabilitation centre today.
