Houthis seize Mocha port, push toward Bab el-Mandeb strait

Houthi forces captured the port city of Mocha in Yemen and are attacking the Red Sea islands of Hanish, Yemeni government military sources say, moving closer to controlling the Bab el-Mandeb strait. Government forces and allies are shifting south to Dhubab, which faces the strait. The escalation threatens a key oil and commodity shipping route between the Gulf and Asia.
