Hanifah urges public not to speculate on Long Lellang crash victims' families
Deputy Health Minister Hanifah Hajar Taib has asked the public to stop speculating about the five people killed in the Long Lellang helicopter crash in Sarawak and to give their families space. She and Miri police chief ACP Mohd Farhan Lee Abdullah met the families to explain that forensic and DNA work must be completed before the remains are released. The BO-105 helicopter went down near the Long Lellang STOLport on Tuesday, killing the pilot and four health workers.
