IGBC 2026 opens in KL with focus on green cities and clean energy

The sixth International Green Build Conference opened in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 10, with speakers discussing sustainable urban development, green building certification and clean energy. Expo City Dubai's Nadia Verjee said certification should be evidence of progress rather than the end goal, while Malaysian Nuclear Agency's Dr Julia Abdul Karim said clean energy should not be framed as nuclear versus renewables.
