LTA: 46 personal mobility devices seized in August enforcement, about 231 offences found

Singapore's Land Transport Authority said 46 non-compliant personal mobility devices were seized in enforcement operations across various locations in August, with about 231 offences detected. Photos shared showed modified electric scooters and cyclists, including some pursued by traffic police on West Coast Avenue on Aug 14. LTA also said it plans to strengthen fire-safety measures under the Land Transport and Related Matters Bill, introduced in Parliament on Sept 8.
