Saudi PIF weighs merging EA with Savvy Games, Bloomberg reports
Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund is considering combining Electronic Arts with its Savvy Games unit, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The deal would fold EA franchises such as EA Sports FC, Battlefield and The Sims together with Savvy's mobile titles, and is unlikely before Savvy completes its US$6 billion purchase of Moonton. No decision has been reached and the companies declined to comment.
