GPM Malaysia sends three humanitarian workers to Nepal
Global Peace Mission (GPM) Malaysia is sending three humanitarian workers to Nepal from today until 14 September to assess the needs of disaster victims. The mission is carried out with Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), prioritising hygiene kits, blankets and basic food supplies. As of 9 September, 1,367 bodies have been found while more than 5,000 people remain missing after the 26 August disaster along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers.
