A helicopter crash in Long Lellang, Sarawak, killed five people - the pilot and four Ministry of Health frontline medical personnel serving the Flying Doctor Service. Sarawak Deputy Minister Datuk Sebastian Ting said the loss was deeply painful for communities in the remote interior who depend on the FDS for healthcare, and extended condolences to the victims' families.
