Carrick dismisses Anderson's 'kings of Manchester' jibe before derby
Manchester United boss Michael Carrick has rejected Elliot Anderson's claim that Manchester City are the 'kings of Manchester' ahead of Sunday's derby at Old Trafford. Anderson, who joined City from Nottingham Forest for £116 million, said City have dominated Manchester for as long as he has known it. City manager Enzo Maresca said the comment was natural given Anderson grew up during City's recent success.
