InterContinental to open first Malaysian resort in Teluk Bahang, Penang in December 2026

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts will open its first resort in Malaysia at Teluk Bahang, Penang, in December 2026. The 348-room property on the island's western coast will feature four restaurants and bars, a spa, family facilities and event spaces. It marks the brand's first resort format in the country.
