Jeffrey Kitingan: Putrajaya and Sabah must resolve 40pc revenue impasse
Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan has called for decisive leadership at both federal and state levels to settle the long-running dispute over Sabah's 40 per cent net revenue entitlement. He said the RM1.5 billion interim special grant for 2026 should not be treated as a final settlement, and urged the state government to seek an independent assessor under Article 112D(6) if no agreement is reached.
