Zahid mandates Umno Youth to organise mega rally with PAS

Umno president Zahid Hamidi has mandated the party's Youth wing to drive a proposed mega rally with PAS, targeting one million Muslim participants. The proposal was raised by a PAS representative at the 2026 Umno General Assembly at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur and was welcomed by delegates. Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh was told to start the effort at state level before a national climax.
