Saifuddin: Parliament term not over, no 'iddah' yet for GE16

Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said the 15th Parliament's term began only in February 2023 and ends in February 2028, so the government has not entered the 'iddah' period for GE16. He was responding to UMNO secretary-general Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki's call for an early election. Saifuddin said the power to dissolve Parliament rests with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
