Healthy ageing a lifelong process, not an old-age concern, says MHAS chairman

At the 11th Malaysian Conference on Healthy Ageing at the Sabah International Convention Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysian Healthy Ageing Society organising chairman Dr Wong Teck Wee said healthy ageing must be treated as a lifelong process rather than something that begins in old age. He stressed prevention, lifestyle choices and community participation, citing the HEPOP pilot programme with about 80 participants.
