Iran, Oman agree on new Hormuz entry and exit routes, to brief Gulf states in Muscat

Iran and Oman have agreed on new entry and exit routes for the Strait of Hormuz, with the Gulf entry route lying entirely within Iranian territorial waters. The understanding will be presented to Gulf foreign ministers at a meeting in Muscat on Monday, though Iran says the waterway remains closed until seven conditions are met.
